What you can expect
You want to apply for a job with a strong, convincing motivation letter—but what do you include, what do you leave out, and how do you make it personal and relevant?
In this half-day workshop, you’ll work with a letter you’ve already written and a vacancy that fits your profile. Together, we’ll look at how to communicate your motivation clearly and effectively. You’ll receive tips, a practical template, and targeted feedback to help you refine your letter. Along the way, we’ll also share useful communication strategies for the entire application process.
Who is it for
This workshop is for UvA employees whose contract is ending—or has recently ended—and who are actively looking for a new position, within or beyond academia.
We work with small groups of 3 to 8 participants to ensure personal attention.
