Career check-in

Anyone can sign up for a Career check-in. This allows you to assess where you are in your career and what you need to do to develop further or take a new step. You complete a validated career test and then discuss it with one of our career coaches. This helps you to clearly define what you want to achieve next. You can do this yourself or sign up for one of our follow-up options.

Workshops

• The workshop Start workshop: What’s next after this job? is free of charge for UvA employees whose temporary contract expires within four months or has already expired.

Coaching

• If you have been employed by the UvA for more than a year and your contract does not expire within four months, you can make use of career coaching free of charge once every two years. This service is regulated in the collective labor agreement. You are then entitled to three free career interviews or a career check-in.
