At ProActief, we believe that reintegration and career development are more than just an obligation under the Dutch Gatekeeper Improvement Act. They are an opportunity for sustainable growth, for both employees and organizations. In our second track programs, we guide employees to a new, suitable workplace with a focus on three essential pillars of a sustainable career: happiness, health, and productivity (inspired by the work of occupational and organizational psychologist Prof. Dr. Beatrice van der Heijden).
We focus on personal control, but never alone. As a partner and career coach, we stand alongside both the employee and the organization, with an approach that is future-proof.
What can you expect?
Every program is tailor-made. We determine the direction and objectives in close consultation with HR and managers. Our permanent career coaches offer personal guidance that inspires, activates, and provides direction, always with an eye for the context of the UvA and higher education.
Two clear phases
Fase 1:
Intake & action plan
A strong start lays the foundation. During the intake, the coach and employee work together to identify motivations, career strengths, and sources of energy. Scientifically based tests and targeted interviews lead to a clear profile and a concrete action plan.
The intake phase can also be taken separately. This is ideal if you want to gain insight before starting a full program. If you decide to continue, we will deduct the costs of the intake from the price of the follow-up program.
Guidance & coaching
We help employees gain insight into their long-term employability: what makes them happy, healthy, and productive at work? Together, we explore suitable positions and sectors and build self-confidence and perspective.
Fase 2:
Jobhunting
The step to a new job requires focus. Our coaches provide support in drafting resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and application skills. Through networking assignments and targeted training, we guide employees in making their value visible.
Aftercare
A new workplace is just the beginning. That is why we stay in touch after placement. We discuss how things are going and offer guidance with any challenges in the new work environment. In this way, we ensure a sustainable landing
Clear communication, sustainable results
Depending on their physical condition, employees have a session with their career coach at least every three weeks throughout the process. In addition, support is available by phone, email, or Teams, and we work with homework assignments, such as networking and job analysis.
Employers receive clear reports on progress. We are happy to explain these in person upon request.

- The intake fee (€475) will only be settled if it is decided for good reasons not to continue with the program.
