Exclusively for UvA - HvA staff with a (temporary) employment contract that has ended or is about to end: PhD candidates, postdocs, lecturers with a temporary contract et cetera.

For UvA staff and employees from other organisations who want to remain optimally employable or who are not sure if they are in the right position for them. For UvA staff this service is included in their CAO and can be used once every two years and working for at least 1 year at the UvA.

Employees who could use new tools and insights to help them in their work.

What?

Coaching aimed at revealing and cultivating talents. This programme is based on a coaching plan, drawn up by the employee and the coach. The requirements of the department can be incorporated in the coaching plan.

Are you leaving your current employer, for whatever reason?

Employees looking for a position outside their present organisation.

What?

  • If required: coming to terms with unpleasant work experiences.
  • Inventory of wishes, motivations, interests, qualities, hindrances and gaps in education/training; optional career choice test.
  • Training for job application skills: CV, application letters, job interviews.
  • Approaching the labour market: networking and job applications.
